Applicants should be on a running contract with one of the participating academic institutions until end of the calendar year of application. They are obliged to mention any end date of their running work contract even though an extension is expected as long as the extension has not been confirmed in written form.
The participation fee should be paid no later than 30 days after receipt.
The invoice for the participation fee will be sent to the participant. Any claim to cover the amount as further education need to be made by the participant following the internal procedures of her respective employing institution.
Any cancellation of participation must be made in written form.
Applications can be withdrawn without any financial charges until closing of the application window.
Once application has been closed, but the selection committee has not met yet, withdrawal of an application will be charged with an administration fee of CHF 50.
After confirmation of participation, a withdrawal will be charged with 100% of the participation fee (e.g. CHF 400 in 2021).
The project leader and the steering committee of CONNECT are committed to taking all possible measures to ensure that the workshops are held on time and that any necessary details (date, time, location…) are communicated accordingly in advance to allow preparation.
In case of workshop cancellation due to force
majeure or illness of the moderator, the workshop will be postponed and set up
at a later date.
Insurance is the responsibility of the participants.
